Interesting Walmart Tidbit

I was looking on the Walmart website and noticed the shower
curtain I just bought was $4 cheaper online. I called Walmart
to see what to do and they said they do not price match their
online store ....ok ?  She said that Walmart prices are always
cheaper online. She also told me it is better to buy online and
have it shipped to the store (free shipping to store). Hum??

Saved my shopping for Sat. This trip wore me out ! Lots of running around .

In the end I got 46 items for "$38" (after rewards). That's less then $1 an item !

Nice Find at Walmart !

I had (2) $4 off coupons for the Fusion Proglide razor. I went to Walmart and was disappointed because the razor was priced at $9.99. I didn't think it was much off a bargain to pay $6. Then I remember reading that some of the sets were clearanced priced.  I took the gift set to the scanner to price check. I was surprised that it was $6 because it was clearly not marked on sale ! So be on the look out for these. It's a nice value at $2. It includes body wash , deodorant, Proglide razor, and cooling lotion.

Not sure if this a local deal but you may want to price check this set. The coupon was from the

August P&G and expires 8/31.

The coupon fairy left a $4 coupon . That is how I ended up getting 3 sets !



Walmart Shoppers

If you haven't heard,

Walmart has a new coupon policy out. You will now receive the

full value of your coupon . What this means to you is that

you will get to spend the overage on other items or actually

get money back ( I think) .

That being said here is what happened when I had overage:

I had a $3 off coupon for the Purex. The travel size was .97.

The cashier had to push the coupon through . I was in fear

that I would be scolded for trying to use the coupon on a

travel size. Lucky for me she didn't look or maybe care :)

Others have reported using this coupon successfully but YMMV!

Also , I had an overage of $1.28. The register alerted the
cashier to call the manager. This made me really nervous.
Yes, I was chicken to test the new coupon policy. I was in
no mood to have to battle this out if need be. Soooo , I
grabbed some Mentos and avoided the dreaded manager.
I know I know ....I'm a chicken ..lol !

Not a Walmart Fan!

My Walmart never has the great roll back prices everyone else has.
I always get disappointed when I go there! Anyways, I keep having
faith and each time I'm disappointed again.

I went to get Ziploc bags, cheese and razors. I couldn't find the bikini
shavers that would have been free so I bought a couple 4 pks for .97
each after my $2 coupon. Why did I want the Ziploc bags? They were
about $1.25 after my coupon. This was not that great a deal . I left those.

The cheese ! The cheese ! The cheese  ! I knew the $5/5 would be
a problem. I hate my Walmart !!!! Coupon haters! Ughhhhh. I had
to do 2 seperate tranactions because the cashier told me I couldnt
use 2 coupons. Ok...whatever. She said the coupon says I can only
use one coupon and thats why it beeped. Ok. Then she looked at
my razor coupon and said I  needed a seperate transaction for that
too. Again she said that the coupon said I could only use one.
I looked at the coupon and I told her it says 1 coupon per inteneded
item. So I could use 2 because I was buying 2. Nope no go. How
dumb is that ? She said something about fraud and internet coupons
...blahblahblah.

soooo.......2 transactions later !

I paid $14 . The cheese was on sale for $2 a bag. I got them for $1

for $3 and paid only cents for the Chef steaks ! The Ball Park

franks were pretty cheap too after using the 2 $2 coupons I got

from the Ballpark Facebook page.

I did? Well when I called to cancel they extended my trial and

sent me "coupons" to send in for $50 in groceries and $50 in gas $.

Will I get this?????? I'm not sure? It's worth a try. If I do then all

the groceries were free plus a $2MM.

If not then I spent money on stuff I needed anyways :)

I can't lie though I hope I get the $50 LOL.

UPDATE: I won't get the $50 :( I just noticed the coupons

are dated for the future..ie: 6/17/09 and 10/2010 !!!!

I should have caught that earlier! Oh well like I said I

All you magazine has a coupon for a FREE mascara!
It does say you must purchase at Walmart. I've heard
rumors that you could use it anywhere but Target told
me no. I couldn't find the mascara at all last week .
I found one last night!!!! Keep looking the coupon is good
until May. This is well worth the price of the magazine.

They are 50% off. I think they are cute. The socks and underwear are
2.50 per set. The pj's are $5. They are in cute gift packs. These would
be great to put away for next Christmas .

$1 Sale at Walmart

Wow I lucked in to some great deals today! I was at Walmart
and I noticed a bunch of people going nuts over a few racks of
clothes. I went over to check it out and everything was $1!
I went twice because the cashier told me they were bringing
more things out at 4:00. I heard an associate say they will bring
more out tomorrow.
I can't show a picture because a few things will be Christmas presents.
There were lots of Faded Glory clothes and Hanna Montana shirts
(This is where I saved a ton because my daughter loves Hanna)
The Halloween clearance was 75% off. They had lots of costumes at
my store. I bought a few shirts for next year for about $2.
I don't know if this is a local thing but thought I'd mention.
